Panel, Service & Power Distribution Upgrades
Make room for the power you need.
Adding equipment, running out of panel space, or planning an upgrade? We assess your existing electrical system and explain the work needed to support your next step.
What We Can Help With
Electrical upgrades for residential, commercial and industrial properties.
Panel & Subpanel Upgrades
Replace an existing panel or add a subpanel to support additional circuits and improve electrical distribution.
Electrical Service Upgrades
Upgrade service equipment and supply capacity when the existing electrical service cannot support the required loads.
Power Distribution & Feeders
Bring power to additional panels, work areas and equipment with properly planned feeders and distribution equipment.
Breakers & Disconnects
Install suitable breakers and disconnects, and transfer or reorganize affected circuits as part of your upgrade.
Capacity for New Equipment
Assess the electrical requirements of EV chargers, heat pumps, machinery and other equipment before choosing an upgrade.
Grounding, Testing & Labelling
Complete required grounding and bonding, test the affected installation and label circuits for clear identification.
An Upgrade That Fits Your Needs
An additional load does not always mean you need a larger service. We assess the available capacity, panel space and equipment requirements to determine the appropriate solution.
Clear scope, proposed cost and planned power interruptions explained before you proceed.
How to Get Started
- Property address and type
- Issue or planned addition
- Equipment details, if available

Assess the existing system and proposed loads. Explain the recommended upgrade, permit requirements and any utility coordination needed.
Approve the scope and confirm a suitable time, access arrangements and any agreed shutdown.
Obtain required electrical permits, complete the agreed installation, test and label affected equipment, and coordinate required inspections and utility arrangements.
Helpful photos: Photograph only safely accessible exteriors and labels. Leave electrical covers closed. Available drawings can also help us review your request.
Electrical Service Upgrade Rebates
CleanBC Energy Savings Program registered contractor
Some residential service upgrades may qualify when linked to an eligible conversion from fossil-fuel heating or water heating to a heat pump through the CleanBC Energy Savings Program.
Pre-register and confirm eligibility before work begins. A panel-only upgrade does not qualify for this rebate without the required utility service upgrade.
Already approved? Send your eligibility code with your request. We review the eligible electrical scope and coordinate the required service-upgrade documentation.

Do I need a panel upgrade or a service upgrade?
A panel upgrade changes the equipment that distributes power to your circuits. A service upgrade increases the supply capacity available to the property. We assess whether one or both are required.
Will the power need to be shut off?
Some upgrades require a planned power interruption. We explain the expected arrangements and coordinate the necessary steps before work is scheduled.
